At your first visit, your provider will conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to understand your history, symptoms, and goals. From there, we will develop a personalized treatment plan designed specifically for you.
Book your first appointmentWe believe cost should never be a barrier to receiving quality mental health care. We accept a range of insurance plans and also offer self-pay options to accommodate patients with different financial circumstances.
We recommend contacting our office directly so we can verify your specific insurance benefits before your first appointment and provide full transparency around any costs involved. Our team is happy to help you navigate your coverage and explore all available options.
Contact us about insurance & feesTelepsychiatry allows you to meet with your provider via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform from any location — your home, office, school, or wherever is most convenient. All you need is a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and a reliable internet connection.
Research consistently shows that telepsychiatry delivers outcomes comparable to in-person care for the majority of mental health conditions. It eliminates the stress of transportation, reduces wait times, and makes it significantly easier to keep up with follow-up appointments.
Medication management is the careful, ongoing process of prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting psychiatric medications as part of a broader treatment plan. It is always paired with supportive therapy and clinical guidance — never medication alone.
Medication is not automatically prescribed to every patient. After your comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, your provider will discuss all treatment options with you openly. If medication is recommended, the decision will be made collaboratively based on your diagnosis, symptoms, medical history, and personal preferences.
Your treatment plan is built around you — not a template. Following your initial psychiatric evaluation, your provider will review your full psychiatric history, presenting symptoms, lifestyle, goals, and any prior treatments to develop a plan specific to your needs.
A typical plan may include a diagnosis, medication recommendations if appropriate, supportive therapy integrated into your appointments, referrals to specialist therapists when additional care is needed, and a clear schedule for follow-up appointments to monitor your progress. Plans are reviewed and adjusted regularly as your needs evolve.
Yes. Your privacy is protected under HIPAA as well as applicable state laws governing mental health records. Everything you share during your appointments is strictly confidential. Your information will never be disclosed to a third party without your explicit written consent.
There are narrow, legally defined exceptions — such as situations involving an imminent risk of harm to yourself or others — which your provider will explain clearly at the start of your care. Our telehealth platform is also fully HIPAA-compliant, ensuring your sessions are encrypted and secure end to end.
If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room right away.
For mental health crises that are not immediately life-threatening, you can reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988. The Crisis Text Line is also available 24/7 — simply text HOME to 741741.
We encourage all patients to discuss crisis planning with their provider during appointments so that a clear, personalized safety plan is in place before it is ever needed.
Follow-up frequency is determined by your individual treatment plan and where you are in your care journey. In the earlier stages of treatment, appointments are typically every two to four weeks so your provider can closely monitor your progress and make timely adjustments.
As your condition stabilizes and your wellbeing improves, appointments may be spaced further apart. Consistent follow-up is what allows us to adapt your plan over time. We make it easy to stay on track through both telehealth and onsite appointment options.
